| The Digitalizer of Images has an automatic entry space for cassetes eliminating the waiting period. With no need to press buttons, it does not require manual interaction, making it sufficient for the RX technician to deposit the cassetes in the entry buffer. The Digitalizer automatically accesses the cassetes and reads the demographic data present in the memory. Next it scans the plate, digitalizes the image and deposits the cassete in the outgoing buffer for new exams. |

Cassetes for X-Rays and Mamography:

| The cassetes have an in-built memory chip to store the data ´´ed in the identification terminal. The identification is made through radio frequency with the help of an antenna situated inside the cassete. Both the data belonging to the patient and the images are put together since the beginning due to a totally electronic process. Thanks to an unique combination of functionalities, the cassetes offer to the user a greater sensibility and definition in small doses assuring a better quality of the images in specific applications. |

| NX Work Station for Digital Radiology: |
| Two NX Work Stations for Digital Radiology; one for X-Rays and another for Mamography, totally integrated with the Digitalizer and the Printers. The NX Station is a tool for quality control and the identification of images that has an intuitive interface which offers a complete and simple use for the fulfilment of the exams. The system was purposely developed to meet all the needs of the RX technician, such as identifying patients, performing exams, controlling the quality of the images, transmitting or printing out the concluded images. As the screen is sensitive to touch, all the basic stages are performed free of great strain and rapidly, allowing flexibility and efficiency. When there is a need for precision, the mouse allows access to a great number of special tools through the edition window.

With these, the Clinica Radiológica de Santos has ceased to use chemicals when revealing films in all the exams performed, contributing for the preservation of the environment. | |
